This all-new extra wide, short and thin board concept within the JP line is said to combine ‘unbelievable early planing, with great easy jibing and a thrilling, exciting feel.

The main difference to other short, wide and thin boards from our competition is an electrifying feel usually felt from smaller boards.

Obviously the thin rails also give you great grip for more sporty jibes. The wide body concept creates great stability and in combination with the special rocker line makes them great passive planers.

The volume distribution is centred and gives the boards great stability. This in combination with amazing manoeuvrability does not limit the board to freeriding, it also invites you to try some classic freestyle moves.

Some will even take the 104 into small rolling waves as it is such a quick and easy turning board. Short and wide boards often run into control problems in choppy conditions.

We worked on a smooth outline with the widest point slightly in front of the centre. This in combination with a scoop rocker line that lets the board “fly” over chop doesn’t give you the feeling of riding such a wide board.

Another beauty of this concept is the unbelievable range of use. The planing power is not limited to big sails. It jumps on the plane effortlessly – even with small sails.’
