THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN...

Sometimes you have to go the extra mile to score a new photography perspective but is it worth risking your life strapped in the back of a tiny two seat gyrocopter to score the ultimate shot? Thanks to the flying skills of Hakan Cetinkaya and his ever reliable flying machine, JC took to the skies at the Pegasus, PWA, Alacati, world cup to capture some very interesting angles of the slalom racing. The gyrocopter looks like a helicopter but the difference is that there is no engine turning the rotors, which self-propel when the air flows through them. Fortunately for JC, as the engine is not connected to the rotors, this means that if the engine should stop in flight, the craft would not be seriously affected and therefore one of the safest methods of flying! Check out the gallery for some very cool slalom images: Thanks to Hakan Cetinkaya for scaring the living daylights out of JC!
